Rotation, Pose and Translation
Positioning your Graphic in 3D space
When using 3D-type graphics you can use the Rotation, Pose and Translation functions to fine-tune the positioning of your Graphic within the 3D space. These functions do not apply to 2D-type graphics.
Rotation
Rotation is used to position your graphic along the Vertical and Horizontal coordinates of the sphere. The spatial distance between the user and the Graphic always stays the same.
On the Graphic Event Editor‘s Main tab, adjust the H ROTATION and V ROTATION values to position your graphic along the horizontal and vertical coordinates of the sphere.
Pose
Using the POSE function, you can manipulate the 3D rotation of your graphic around its centre axes.
On the POSE tab of the Graphic Event Editor you can change the X, Y and Z POSE values by adjusting the sliders, or entering a number between -180 and 180.
Translation
With Translation, you can manipulate the positioning of the graphic within a 3D-coordinate system. Y-translation affects the absolute position along the vertical (Y) axis, X-translation affects the position along the horizontal axis, and Z-translation affects the position along the Z Axis.
On the POSE tab of the Graphic Event Editor you can adjust the Translation values along the X, Y and Z axes.
