Navigating Branches
There are a number of ways to navigate and work with branches. Familiarize yourself with the keyboard shortcuts to save time.
Keyboard Shortcuts
1. Use the B and Shift + B keys to switch to the next and previous branch in your project.
2. Use Alt + 1 , Alt + 2 … Alt + 9 to switch to Branch 1 , 2 … 9
3. Use Ctrl + ← (left arrow) to return to the previous branch after a jump during authoring.
4. Use (Ctrl + Shift + B) to toggle the Branch List Panel where you can switch to branches by clicking on the list.
5. Use (Ctrl + B) to open the Branch Details Panel, where you can set Branch Properties and On Complete Behaviour.
6. Use (Ctrl + D) to go the Project Details Panel to designate a branch as an Entry Branch in a Multibranch Experience.
The Branch Menu
Use the Branch Menu in the Top Navigation to choose the first ten branches directly from a drop-down menu.
In the drop-down list, the Entry Branch is marked with an asterisk.
Entry Branch Shortcut
The ALT + 1 keyboard shortcut will always switch your editor to the Entry Branch.
